Cakes


These cake paintings spin a story of love. They are a sculptural base for the objects and figures portrayed in them.The sweet towers symbolize celebrations and happiness.  They are a response to my environment.  They portray former birthday cakes, the $14.75 wedding cake I had, as well as the future. Cake icing is similar to the shiny wet paint I use to depict my memories and dreams.
