Buddha Dolls

“Thousands of candles can be lit from a single candle, and the life of the candle will not be shortened. Happiness never decreases by being shared.”
---Buddha

Starting in the spring of 2012, four of us have had a weekly “Buddha Tuesday” meeting. We have made clay Buddhas as a vehicle to visit, and produce pieces of art that represent the kindness and sereneness of our friendship. We decided to use the recognizable image because it relates to our past involvement in yoga, philosophy on life, and as an icon that pleases each one of us. This project has so far produced over a hundred and twenty pieces.

Please select a Buddha to view it in its entirety.
